The big four!


The advice is to eat at least five portions of fruit and veg a day, but what about variety?

The British Nutrition Foundation recently did a survey and found that half - yes half! - of the UK’s vegetable intake is made up of just four. They are peas, tomatoes, onions and carrots.

Well, we do use these stalwarts of the vegetable kingdom in our delicious ready meal range, of course, but we also love the wider variety on offer.
